How to Burn Beeswax Votives
To get the most out of your beeswax votive, it’s important to burn it the right way. Beeswax votives are designed to be burned in a snug-fitting glass holder. Without a proper holder, they won’t burn evenly and may tunnel.
Tips for Best Results:
Use a tight-fitting votive holder—the wax needs to fully liquefy to burn properly.
Burn for at least 1–2 hours per use—this allows the wax to melt edge to edge, avoiding tunneling.
Keep the wick trimmed to about ¼ inch to ensure a clean, steady flame.
Place on a heat-safe surface away from drafts, pets, and flammable items.
